About me

I am 43 years old. A cystic fibrosis survivor, who received a double lung transplant almost 5 years ago. My pulmonary doctors say I am in excellent shape for a kidney transplant. I am listed at the Cleveland Clinic Kidney Transplant Program. However their list is 3-5 years. I have been on dialysis for 2 years. I haven't been able to find a match yet. Though some dear people have attempted no one has been a match. I am feeling a sense of urgency for many reasons, but mostly because I am reaching the end stage of my dialysis access. I have family and nieces and nephews that I love and enjoy. I want to travel, go back to work, develop some new hobbies, continue my new love of cooking, meet new people and just fully realize the gifts I've been given by trying new things. I also need to live a life worthy of the person who's lungs I have. I am a fighter and I won't stop now. Thank you possible donors for considering me.
